One of two rooms in the 1846 addition, this room features the brick exterior wall of the 1828 house with original "penciling" (white paint on the mortar between the bricks). The 1846 mantel is crafted in simple Federal style. The spinning wheel would have very likely been a part of a bedroom décor of the 1880's. The room features 19th century handmade furniture and pottery from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. There is a full bath with dressing area. A comfortable reading/TV chair and terry robes are additional amenities.
